TRITON DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS SIGNS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH GULLIVERS TRAVEL ASSOCIATES
SAUSALITO, CA--(BUSINESS WIRE)—Jul. 24, 2007--Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: TTDS), a next generation web-based travel distribution service provider, announced today the signing of a distribution partnership agreement with Gullivers Travel Associate (GTA), part of the Travelport Group of companies.
After 31 years of business, GTA has become one of the world's leading wholesalers of hotels, tours, events and other services to the travel industry. 30,000 travel suppliers provide GTA with high-quality travel services—including 27,000 group tours—for agents in 120 countries. Last year GTA received 16 million hotel bookings at over 23,000 hotels. Destination services include 7,000 restaurants and events that include Flamenco lessons, Bobsleighing in Riga and a Papal audience in Rome.
Other products and services offered through GTA include, over 21,000 transfer options , 4,000 sightseeing tours in 350 cities, 8,000 contracted tourist attractions, 16,000 long distance coach trips, 3,500 car rental locations in 1,000 cities, 1,200 private sightseeing options, contracts held with 16 rail suppliers offering tickets in more than 20 countries, and contracts with 6 cruise lines in the Mediterranean.
