TRITON DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS OPENS OFFICE IN KUWAIT TO SERVE THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICAN MARKET
SAUSATLITO, CA--(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 26, 2007--Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: TTDS), a next generation web-based global pioneer in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, announced today that it is opening an office in Kuwait. The Middle East and North African region (MENA) has been experiencing an explosive growth in tourism—8%-10% over the last four years—and is expected to double by the year 2020.
Triton’s Chairman and CEO, Gregory Lykiardopoulos recently led a successful two day seminar in Kuwait with senior officials of the largest regional hotels and airlines as well as with some select large travel agencies. Mr. Lykiardopoulos demonstrated Triton’s products and services along with showcasing the innovative advantages gained from using ReservationExpert™, a low-cost and easy-to-use distribution booking system.
“This new office, together with Triton offices in the U.S., China, S.E. Asia, India and Europe, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to establishing a truly global presence,” said Mr. Lykiardopoulos. “The Kuwait office team’s first task will be to finalize the travel vendor partner and agency contracts. As our solutions become increasingly widespread, our team in Kuwait will begin supporting regional sales as well as installation and customer service. We expect our Kuwait office to be operational by the end of May.”
