TRITON DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS SIGNS MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH TRAVEL GROUP IN INDIA, STIC
With the STIC Agreement Triton Plans to Open an Office in India, Its Fourth International Site Since Launching Offices in the Philippines, Beijing and Amsterdam
SAUSALITO, CA--(BUSINESS WIRE)—Jan. 18, 2007--Triton Distribution Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: TTDS), a next generation web-based travel distribution service provider, announced today that it has signed a five-year marketing and distribution agreement with STIC Travels. Under the terms of the agreement, STIC will market and distribute Triton’s ReservationExpert™ product to its India subscribers, vendors and other third parties.
STIC is a travel group with 43 offices nationwide and is engaged in the business of airline marketing, management and airport operations, cargo and charter operations, including the provision of private air charters, airline, tour, cruise, railway, hotel reservations and other travel related products and services.

According to the India Ministry of Tourism, 4.4 million foreign tourists traveled to India in 2006, a 13% increase from 2005. India’s domestic tourism reached 320 million in recent years and India was listed 6th on Conde Nast Traveller’s top 10 popular tourist destinations in 2004. In 2006, Jaipur, India was listed 7th as the top city to visit in Asia. Tourist arrivals in India are currently growing at twice the rate of Asia as a whole.
Triton plans to open an office in India to support the STIC agreement and other partnership the company is exploring. “Doing business in India is a priority for Triton,” said Lykiardopoulos. “Each year, more people are visiting India, which is an indication of its healthy travel and tourism market.”
